Africa Fair Launches their Spring/Summer 2006 Collection at Premiere Classe, Paris

Paris, 2 September, 2005 - Africa Fair is excited to present our Spring/Summer 2006 collection at Premiere Classe in Paris. The collection consists of two ranges: Nature, reflecting the natural environment found in Africa and will introduce South African flower patterns inspired by the local fynbos plants, including the protea, and Sparkle which captures the explosion of color and playful spirit found on Cape Town's beaches in the holiday season, conjuring up memories of bright summer days.

Inspired by the earth and plants found in South Africa, Nature includes floral patterns on handbags or delicate blooms and pebbles dropping from silver bracelets and pendants. Blossom patterns on perspex and ceramic jewellery conveys the coolness of spring flowers. The range is feminine and soft with texture given by delicate wire and bead flowers added to handbags or adorning a silk choker. The colors are soft and dusted, floral white, sandy khaki, fynbos green, mountain blue with touches of faded lilac, pink and coral.

Sparkle is a range of contrasting effervescent ripe summer colours, golden sand, aquamarine sea, deepsky blue, limegreen grass and sunsets of magenta, red and orange. The line is happy and fun, unusual materials such as paper beads, sequins, crocheted wire and beads, and colourful antique trade beads are used to add a funky twist to jewellery. Images of holidays at the beach are captured in necklaces and bracelets allowing one to bring the spirit of a seaside vacation into the wardrobe.

The Africa Fair Collection is available in stores in Paris and New York, as well as other locations across the Europe and the USA. View Africa Fair's a full list of stockists.
